The mailman dropped off the newest member of my locomotive roster today: a new Bowser M636 decorated for Canadian Pacific. I just had to share my excitement!

It's been a long time since I started this project, and a long time since I've posted an update. Turns out I don't have as much free time to devote to model railroading as I wish I did, LOL!

Since my last post about this project way, way back in March, I've been pretty busy with other things but have made a little progress...

I haven't posted in a while, been busy with other things. Since my original post about restoring an old, crusty MDC 0-6-0 (read it here), I have cleaned up all the parts and rebuilt the motor...

I had to take a break from my Dash 9 project (last blog entry here) because it has been languishing on my workbench for a while, and I need to order some more parts one of these days.

This week I have been mixing paint and installing traction motor cables...

I've been a subscriber of the MRH site since the beginning, and have enjoyed all the great articles and tips found here. I just started a new project, so I thought it was a good excuse to start a blog about my own modeling experience.
