I am after a way to get wireless Arduino remote train controls. I am looking at using an NRF24l01 with two Arduino mini. Now the WDMRC has 12 sections (2-3 years away from complete rewire to have DCC ) these are an interim solution.

which sound decoder should i put into my KATO dash 8-40CW engines they have an 8 pin plug in the top ill take some photos and post them.

These are some 20years old and are not ATLAS ones but edition 1 that kato did. I did have a dozen of them until i was recently burgled and these are two that were on my work bench getting some work done so they were saved.

We have an exhibition comming up and i have a dummy loco that i would like to add a camera to and live stream back to a computer that then broadcasts back to a screen. 

Was thinking along the lines of what the drones use, but not sure what parts to start looking for. Will order from alli express but where to start or help would be great.

Have started a rbuild of an area that will have a small intermidal secrion at the front a nuce new road that leads to a gas station, firstaion and merchants row then in the gey area will be some induatral buildings, and a plastic pallet loader. We arw in the mists of eewiring the yard with some better relays and some ardunio based wireless controllers will post these up once they are functional.

am after ideas photos of where the trucks enter and leave an inter modal yard it is not going to be all that big but i am after some inspiration to scratch build/freelance one to fit the entrance to yard.

I love the look of the craftsman style kits but I am modeling in the mid 90s era of SANTA FE around the time the c30-7s and the dash-8s and sd40-2s were kings of the rail. But when i look at the kits that may be around for this era i do not find alot of cratsmans style or kits up to that quality. 

Be nice to know where as the cornerstone and like don't quite take it far enough or is there a whole in the market i wonder
