Hi,
This is just something I've been wanting to do for the month of October since it's breast cancer awareness month. Unfortunately the weather and a never ending cold delayed this, but I was happy to get out and get this shot done today.
This is an Athearn "Ready to Roll" Boxcar taken on my small Woodland Scenics diorama that I'm currently in the process of refurbishing.

"On a late Pacific Northwest summer evening in September 1973, the rhythmic sounds of crickets chirping is interrupted by the low grumbling sound of Burlington Northern C-636 4360 as she sits idling outside the locomotive shop. Her sister 4368 takes her turn inside for routine maintenance".

Hello again finally,
Wow, another long lapse in a blog entry from me, but as you can see below, I've put a lot of that time to good use.

How do YOU model fall corn fields??
Hi,
Sorry it's been a while!
I'm a huge fan of fall and plan to have my layout and modules set in that season right around color and harvest peak. One of the first challenges that springs to mind is how to realistically model dried corn still standing in the field ready for harvest. I would like to try my hand at modeling this myself rather than purchase commercial ones that can add up fast when you plant a lot of rows.
So, I would love to hear everyone's technique on how to do this!

Hello MRH!
Hello everyone,
Well, I thought it was long overdue to finally hop on, introduce myself and become more active here on MRH.
