Model Railroad Hobbyist Magazine regrets to announce the passing of Lew Matt, formerly our Narrow Gauge and Shortline columnist. Lew, of Jefferson, Pennsylvania, modeled both freelance On30 and the PRR in HO scale. A writer, photographer and illustrator, Lew's work has appeared in most of the model railroad hobby magazines. Lew was also a United States Air Force Veteran, a member of the American Legion and a certified organic farmer. Surviving are his two sons, Shawn M. Jones and Chris Cohan.
