Digitrax DS64

I'm considering opperating my turnouts using a DS64 (connected to Tortoise machines) but I'd also like to have the ability to opperate the turnouts with facia-mounted toggle switches.
I'm assuming this can be done. If so, can someone explain to me how it should be wired? In reading the material on the digitrax site, I get confused as they use the terms "switch" and "toggle" in both the train sense and the computer sense. Blood is actually spraying out of my ears as I try to make heads or tails of this!
Thanks,
Bill

I thought it would be fun to
I dont want to discourage you from experimenting with these things. I set up my small N-scale "chainsaw" layout with DCC turnout control and blocks pre-cut for eventual installation of detectors and signals. All this in a 3x6 oval. Obviously over the top and the only purpose was for the fun of experimentation. By all means, give it a shot.
I still plan to play with these things at some point on this little layout. The slightly larger HO layout I am planning is going to have manual push-rod controlled turnouts.
