Awesome work everyone last week! Time to start this week's photo thread!
As always, we get as much out of your in-process photos as we do the highly polished "all done" shots!

Scratchbuilt 3D printed, 12 axle, 325 ton Drop Deck Flatcar.
I was asked recently if I would consider making a 12 Axle, heavy duty flat car as a kit to offer. I thought, Why not? It’s unique and it would present a great design challenge. After a bit of research, I decided on the Kasgro 325 ton 12 Axle flatcar shown here as my prototype. There’s plenty of photos available on line, plus it’s red! Who can resist a bright red car?

(Small) British Outline Layout
Hi all,
Recently, while Googling small layouts for On30 ideas, I stumbled upon a layout sketch that really caught my attention. It was of an HO 4x6 foot layout designed for the Thomas and Friends series ... distinctly British.

Something 'out of state' from Australia
I thought I would stop lurking and add something for a change. I live in Western Australia and decided to model a town in the country. I decided on a place called Tammin which has 2 types of grain silos so I saw this as a challenge. I do N scale as I can fit enough in a small area.
I scratchbuilt all my structures, train and wagons. I also used my 3D printer to do about 1/3 of the layout. When I was finished I took it down the railway line and photographed my N scale model. This was the result.

It has been fun but....Picasa problems - Sorted maybe..Maybe not...
HI all,
It has been fun posting photos here, but it appears that this may no longer be possible as previously.
Overnight Google has arbitrarily and without warning "archived" all my Picasa albums and disabled the ability to create a suitable link that can be used for embedding photos here and on any other forums and Blogs. Google+ (its supposedly "better" replacement) does not have the ability to create such links or embed photos. The direct link to the photo does not allow embedding either.
