Nine Month update.....Or where does the time go...
Howdy, ya'll! Been a while...not much new to talk about, home projects took up most of the summer so not much train activity.
Some things I have accomplished are moving toward train fun....
New laminate flooring in my spare room/train room removed ugly wall-to-wall carpeting and now have a smooth easy to clean floor, also fresh wall paint....
Most of what I have done this summer was research, been trying to decide a Kansas prototype to interpret...

Crescent City Model Railroad Club in New Orleans needs help from Hurricane Ida damage.
The Crescent City Model Railroad Club in the greater New Orleans area sustained some bad roof damage during Hurricane Ida. If you can, please help us raise some funds to help get a new roof. Also if you can, please share this on your personal social media platforms. The more we can get this message out to the public the more success we may have. We have set up a Go Fund Me Page to help raise funds for a new roof.
Please help us to Save the Crescent Lines.
Thank you

Setting up with the Sipping and Switching Society of North Carolina Nov. 6-7, 2021
Good evening,
We are heading down from Ohio to Raleigh, NC to set up with the S&SS of NC modular group this weekend.
They have a layout planned that will encompass slightly more than 25,000 sq. ft. of space in the Jim Graham Building, North Carolina State Fairgrounds, Raleigh, NC. 4285 Trinity Road, Raleigh, NC. This layout is part of the Neuse River Model RR club's show.
Please stop by and say "Hi" if you're able to come to the show!

Enjoy... a bit longer than usual but I had more to talk about and of course more trains to run!
The San Miguel Central RR, On30.
"Whether I shall turn out to be the hero of my own life, or whether that station will be held by anybody else, these pages must show."
So, here I am. Born anew.
My journey in model railroading is a continuous one, and after building a layout in HOn3 the last couple of years, I've now jumped headfirst into the dark side of model railroading; On30!
As some may know, I live in Sweden and work as an artist/cultural heritage consultant.
The New Colorado Front Range
The week building continues the helix and staging yards are first. The helix is a 2 and 1/2 turn on a 1.7% grade with the outside radius bing 37 inch and the inside 34 inch. But wait for it.... yes through a wall one side in my wood shop and the other in the layout room. Here are a few photos.
