Locomotive tune up tips how to video.
My first attempt at a "How To" video demonstrating my technique for polishing the stock Athearn wheels.
Also, I will show you how to add extra electrical pickups for better pick up!
Polish Those Athearn Wheels!
I know I have posted this tip once before but here is an updated method that works much better! If you want to read the original article, here is the link.

New fencing!
Built a chain link fence as an experiment using craft store "jewelry wire". Came out ok I think as this is my first attempt at this using wire. Sorry for the fuzzy photo as I took it with my cell phone camera. I still need to paint it and actually install it permanently into position.
HO Scale
New MRC Sound decoders.
I thought I would update everybody on my MRC1913 sound decoder that I purchased at the Amhearst show this year. This is the HO scale model and I believe that the 1935 is the N scale version.
Well so far so good. I haven't run into any major issues to speak of but there are a couple of small things I want to mention.
First video of the MRC 1913 Sound decoder.
Hey everybody, finally got some video of the sounds of the new MRC 1913 sound decoder. It's mostly a still video right now but does go through some of the basic sounds of the decoder. This first vid is about the 6 prime mover sounds. Sorry if the picture is a bit fuzzy but I put the camera up pretty close to capture as much sound as possible. Will work on better videos in the near future so for now just bear with me as I get accustomed to shooting videos.
CFL Daylight Bulbs!
I recently upgraded the lights to 100 watt "daylight" CFL's.
I'll post some before photos soon. Check some out here https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.541690012525127.136356.100000524003557&type=1&l=8f3409280d
