First Van (Caboose) for the Algonquin Railway
I just finished up this Van for my proto freelanced Algonquin Railway. Its kit bashed from a Atlas ICC Center Cupola Caboose. I modified it to look like the Cartier Railway Vans built by Morrison Knudson. In my version of history the Algonquin ordered these at the same time as the Cartier.

Algonquin Railway Eastern White pines
Over the last two weekends I have been making up a batch of trees. The Algonquin region of Ontario I model is full of Eastern White Pines, Hemlocks, Cedars and Spruces for Evergreens. To model these I have used a few different techniques. For the Eastern White Pines or (EWP's) I make them one at a time branch by branch per the method developed by Mike Confalone in his Modelling outside the Box DVD's.

Algonquin Railway Gondolas
Here is a pic of my first home road cars. P2k Gondolas modified to look more like Canadian prototypes built by National Steel Car. I Still need to weather them, but I am happy with this first effort. More info on my newly created Blog.

Algonquin Railway-Brent Quarry
Hey Everyone here is a few shots of Brent Quarry. I just finished this scene and the hoppers in the last couple of days. Still need a company sign and loads for the hoppers but I would say its 95% done. I used Kevin Kettles weathering techniques fro the inside of the hoppers. It was easy and looks great.
