My second road trip necessary to get all my stuff in one place is now history. I have two more road trips to go, unfortunately.

This trip I flew to northern Virginia, where my Mom has recently moved from her independent living apartment into an assisted living room in the same facility. So I inherited half her furniture (prematurely). I rented a Penske truck and loaded up the stuff and drove it to Laredo,  TX, where it's now in storage.

I've finally started assembling the tracks for my Lynn Junction layout!

I say assembled because I've only soldered them together, they aren't affixed to the roadbed yet.  I wanted to get these turnouts put together as a unit to start to make sure they flowed smooth and to have something solid to build from.  As I was dry fitting the rest of the junction, these kept falling apart.  Now they won't, and I can more accurately cut the rest of the flextrack.
