New comer

I thought joining a site like this may get me a few answers from those in the hobby who had already been there and worked it out...perhaps no one reads these questions... or maybe being new to both model rail and computer I could be doing something wrong, whichever I dont look like getting answers to even basic questions so will move on and see if I cant work it out myself

Cheers... Bob

@Bob

Hi Bob

A warm welcome to this forum. The probable reason that you haven't had any response is that you have posted your query at the bottom of a thread on a completely different topic.  If you have a look at the menu options on the right, try clicking on "Make a Web Post". By doing that you can start your own topic and post your question there.

The other amazing resource on this forum is the Google Custom search at the top right of the page.  Typing a search term in there will find all the relevant posts on this site only. You should always do a search here first as most model railroad issues have already been well covered on this site.

For your particular problem, I would first do a search on No Ox, and then do a second search on Graphite.

Weathering Freight Cars

Recently purchased the new Mike Confalone video on weathering freight cars.  I've watched the first couple segments and I'm really pleased with the techniques. I might be missing something, but is the final step in making sure the weathering stays in place, spraying the car with dull coat?

Thanks in advance.

This is why I joined MRH I can not UNDERSTAND why you would want a minute by minute account of what you did all day.When I know I will be in the garage building or tearing down my HO gauge layout

Does anyone have a copy of the old Pollensoftware.com circuits.

Dismayed that this fantastic source has 'retired'.

Assistance in making contact

I live half way between Charlton and Holyoke and wish to invite Neil Schofield for a visit to my layout and vice versa.

Can I do that invite through this Community site?

Why not post on the thread for his article?

He might be keeping an eye on it.
