I previoulsy posted about yet another move to Toronto with my portable Ontario South Central. This is now the 4th location. If you follow my blogs I wrote about a small switching layout that fits into a Condo living space satisfying the missus. 

Well, we've broken up, and I had to move to the burbs and had my layout in a room in a town house. 

I have decided to down size my layout, I have been reading about downsizing here on MRH for awhile. The existing layout takes up most of my one car garage and I need more storage space. The layout is double deck point to point J shaped with the helix at on end of the J. Each level has a 4 track yard and two staging tracks the lower level also has an additional one track staging inside the helix. I have fourteen industries and two engine servicing facilities. So, the last few months have been interesting. I got laid off in March, found a new job in April and started working again in May. All this during the Covid-19 lock down craziness. I am feeling very fortunate to have gotten through this stretch relatively unscathed. And, during all this, we have managed to keep the railroad project moving forward.

Has anyone used a "roto zip" for cutting Homasote for roadbed and, if so, was it successful?
