Layout tour
Crazy hidden staging
This is a video that a fellow member of a German model railroad forum posted. He let a camera train run on his layout. The video is almost 33 minutes long, of this the train spends about 30 minutes running through his humongous hidden staging yard. His helixes use a maximum grade of 0.7% to allow him to run trains of up to 9 m (30 feet) in length. If you watch this you will need patience!
Landor Street.
Landor Street is my 9ft x 18 inch switching layout being built for an exhibition here in the UK in June. Just a few finishing touches to add and the staging yard to complete. I am busy weathering cement cars at the moment for the Redi-mix plant.
Top layouts you'd like to see on TMTV and in MRH?
What well known layouts would you love to see on TMTV and in MRH? Because of the way TMTV is working, many of these layouts could likely become coverage in MRH to go with TMTV. MRH is just so much better providing things like a good track plan you can study, so if we can swing it, we'd like to actually do a TMTV video *and* do a layout feature in MRH on your wish list layouts.

ATSF Paradigm Division - Staging Level Construction Update 2
I have now completed the wiring of Staging Yard "A" (10 tracks) on the near side of the peninsula. It took about 35 hours over two weeks to complete the wiring job. All 10 tracks can be turned on or off via the SPDT switches located in the recessed openings in the fascia and each track has an LED power-on indicator. The switches were recycled from my previous DC layout.
Allagash Railway - NEW PICS - Madrid Yard almost complete
Hi guys,
After about 6 weeks of torrential work, Madrid Yard is finally close to complete. Madrid is the Division Point yard and the most important spot on the Allagash. We've been operating the railroad literally for years with Madrid in full function, but with zero scenery. It was time to face this project square in the eye and get it done.
