page link problems
Some links from an old article crept into the derailments this month.
The tunnel portal links to the "Conductor" lottery video and also the Feedback link for the page links to September 2013.

Thanks, Bill
Thanks for the corrections, Bill.
For some reason Adobe keeps doing the Sept 2013 error on the final feedback button on Derailments every issue. The only way to fix it is to delete and rebuild the page from scratch, and THEN it will render correctly. Inside InDesign, the feedback button on this page HAS the correct link, but when it renders to PDF, Adobe doesn't output the correct link.
Wierd.
We will wait to see if any more corrections come in today and then we will issue an updated Feb issue tonight before we send out the big "come and get it" email blast.

Check this
Been there, cursed there, resolved. Examine your hyperlink naming convention in the InDesign hyperlinks panel and associated library. I bet you will find two links sharing the same name (not same URL, same ID library name). For reasons unknown to me InDesign allows same names in the library. PDF distiller picks up the first instance by library name. Sounds like your real link is the second or later instance.

InDesign?
I'm not up to date on Adobe software. Is InDesign the successor to Pagemaker? I'm still using an ancient copy of Pagemaker 6.5.

InDesign the successor to Pagemaker?
Yes, In Design replaced Pagemaker in the Adobe suite.

Re your quotation above - MRH 14, P.129 - It was used by Flanders and Swan, very clever English comedians and songsters, but whether they actually wrote it is unclear..

I had an idea that it came from Queen Victoria, but who knows?
