Guys,
We are releasing a new speaker immediately after testing numerous versions for our locomotive kits. This speaker is 2 watt, 8 ohm, with 47mm X 16.5mm X 7mm outer dimensions.
Our initial shipment is inbound. They will retail for $11.49 USD.
The quality of sound from this speaker is exactly what we've been looking for.

Upgrade MRC Prodigy Express
I would be grateful to anyone who has upgraded their basic Prodigy Express and would share the experience. That would include technical steps, cost, and anything else I need to do.
I do want the system to hold more than 5 addresses, I plan to have simple operating sessions with two to four operators.
I have attempted to contact MRC but they have not returned my call.
Thanks in advance,
Which decoder for N Scale?
Hi, I am looking for help.
My plan is to change from DC to DCC operation of my U.S. prototype N scale layout. My engines are from Kato (mostly), Atlas and a few Bachmanns. Since I live in Germany I would like to use the Lenz Digital Plus System.
My questions:
1. Does anybody have experience with the Lenz system and N scale locos?
2. How does it work with multiple traction (3 or more engines in one train)?
3. Which decoder is best suited for my purpose ( long trains with double and multiple traction) ?
Can I put a sound decoder in a dc engine
I was wondering if I can put asound decoder in a dc engine.I thought I read an article in one of the
major model train mags awile back. I have Bachman Easey Command System. I know it is a simple
system. When you want to run a dc engine I have to switch to the no.10 button on the pad. how
would this work with a sound decoder or is it not possible to do this.

Testing DCC chip for old Mantua engines
Hello- can anyone tell me how to test a DCC chip installed in Mantua 0-4- and 0-6-0 engines that i have totally rebuilt.
Any tips on DCC installation- mine have front and back headlights- some with tender pick up, some not. I bought one very small 4 wire microchip that I was told is fine for these little locos.
How do i set up the decoder -is it specific to a specific layout or will the chip work on anyone's layout?
