2013 Goals for your Railroad Modeling?
In December 2011 Rick Wade started a thread on goals for 2012. http://model-railroad-hobbyist.com/node/6579
I thought it would be interesting to review my goals and see what I accomplished toward those goals. And also look at what I had done that wasn't included in my goals.

Layout photos
I've attached a few mobile phone photos of my in-progress 25x25 freelanced dogbone layout, inspired by the New York Central Railroad as it existed in the Mid-Hudson Valley in the late 1940's and early 1950's. I hope to have a "rough draft" completed by spring, then will begin detailing and adding a helix to a lower-level staging yard.
Street Car Lines
I'm working on a downtown scene for our club layout and would like to have a street car line included in the scene. It has been suggested that I use a silver tape to represent the rails of the street car line; this seems quite lame. I would like to have actual rails imbedded in the street pavement (will be made of styrene). I seem to have seen a system for accomplishing this and to make the street car line operational as well. Does anyone have suggestions?
Great Western Railroad an Ho Scale Layout in a spare bedroom
Heres a video of My Great Western Railroad, A Sugar Beet Hauling Railroad. This layout is nowhere as big as I need but will do for now.suggestions and comments are Welcome.

Free-moN: At Home and On The Road
As it seems my Free-moN modules have now become my "home layout", thought I'd start a new thread featuring the whole kit-n-keboodle rather than individual modules.
'Twas a busy weekend: on Saturday I set up all my modules in my garage to 1) troubleshoot, 2) see it if fit in my garage (a "California Basement") and 3) run trains!
Only took about a kabillion hours to get everything going, but once it did...!

"Shark" on the JDS&E
I was rail fanning the JDS&E yesterday and caught this PRR shark at the tower. (click on the image to enlarge it)
While I was there I took a picture of the crossing tower as well.
