Minor update

Received the rest of the roads. so completed base work on the fist section around to the 2nd tunnel. I also got the fence done around part of the fuel depot.

Tilley Yard South, Chicago, 1956

Hello all, 

I thought I would share my current exhibition layout with you. Tilley Yard South is a fictious switching puzzle set in Chicago in the late 1950's. 

It is also set during winter, with snow and ice on the ground.

Dimensions: 5'2" by 12"

Scale: HO

Era: Late 1950's

Location: Chicago (ATSF)

Control: DC

Motive Power: ALCO RS-2, ALCO HH-1000, ALCO S4, EMD GP7, FM H16-44

Allagash Railway - Andover, Maine scenery complete - images

Hey guys,

Here are some images from the recently completed Andover, Maine on my Allagash Railway. More details like switch-stands, tie plates, ties, rail piles an general clutter need to be added, but basic scenery is complete. 

Some of you may have heard that the original Andover was completely torn down over a year ago. I've attached one image (first pic) of the old branch, and a series of images of the "new" Andover. As you can see, they bear little resemblance.

End of March going into Easter

I had some time tonight to do a small update. Had a week off and got to spend a little time working on the Layout so I thought a small update was in order.

The hobby has come a long way since David Petty first dabbled in N-scale in the early 1970’s.  His freelance Midwest Central layout is the result of 40 years of imagination and a love for his home state of Indiana.
