Vallejo Paint Case
Vallejo paints are now my go to choice for use in my modeling. Used together with Joe’s High Performance thinner and Acrylic painting handbook I have been able to achieve excellent coverage and finish on my models.
I now have over 60 bottles of Vallejo paint and keeping them organized was becoming a problem. Also, it would be very beneficial to be able to rotate them to keep the pigment from settling to the bottom. I was looking at the traditional paint racks available and while some are very nice, they would all take up a lot of workbench space.
Adhesive?
Wasn't sure of category. For a shelf layout about 2 feet below the ceiling. Lighting. Possible LED's, seem to be a good choice available. How do you fasten them to the ceiling? I'd prefer something that is easy to remove. As in replace a LED or whatever. I realize LED's may never have to be replaced, but I'd like to be prepared. I thought of Velcro? Double sided tape? Just plain glue or some adhesive that the wires/lights could be pulled off and re-glued as necessary? I'd like to avoid screws or something that "destroys" the finish of the ceiling. ?
How to Scratchbuild Super Easy Chain Link Fence (Video+Photos)
Recently I've been working on chain link fence, and perfecting my technique, which I've developed using several different sources. Hopefully this helps those who want this type of fence on their layouts, and let me know if you have any questions.
Upcoming Cricut Design Space Changes
Important info for those users of Cricut die cutting machines: I was made aware this morning of upcoming changes to the Cricut Design Space. If you are using the free Design Space app without the paid-for Cricut Access plan you will get limited to a 20 personal images and/or patterns uploads per month. A monthly Cricut Access plan will cost you $9.99/month to overcome that limitation.

Hairspray (or other chipped paint) techniques?
Has anyone here used the hairspray weathering technique when modelling steel structures or vehicle or trains?
I recently discovered the technique and would like to see if anyone has their results to post.
3D printer choices
I'm thinking of getting a 3D printer and was wondering if any of you have opinions concerning brands, ease of use, cost, resolution sufficient for HO, etc. I've looked at the Any Cubic Photon printer but that's about it.
Thanks.
Illuminated uncoupler stick
I recently saw on YouTube an illuminated uncoupler (on Lawrie's Mechanical Marvels channel), but it is only available in the UK.
So I quickly found a cheap base to make my own stick: some LED chopsticks!
Finding Quality Drill Bits
I recently bought some Walthers drill bits (#77-79) at a LHS and they were very poor quality with no apparent point and packaged differently than in the past. The shop owner had no comment and I immediately placed a Mc Master Carr order for some high speed steel bits. Has anyone else noted this?
