IAIS's West End - New power, new bridge
Over the 14 years I've been following the IAIS, I've gone to great effort to confine my modeling strictly to my chosen era, both to focus my efforts as well as to limit my hobby spending. A friend has even jokingly (?) referred to me as "heartless" due to choices I've made to part with equipment that doesn't fit my timeframe.

Model railroad layout on the Innotrans trade fair
Last Friday, I visited the Innotrans, which is one of the world's largest railroad trade fairs held every second year in Berlin, Germany. On the stand of yard operator RLC, which is a subsidiary of the HVLE Railroad, there was a small, pizza style H0 model railroad layout:
