Laying the Last Piece of Track -Trenton Subdivision in N Scale

I have finally laid the last section of rail on my rebuilt N Scale -Trenton Subdivision.

To Mark this milestone, I decided to have some fun.

F.P. Nielson & Sons Flour Mill in Mesa, Arizona looks like it will be my next project. 

Milwaukee Train #27

Train #27 was a pretty unremarkable Chicago-Milwaukee train in the timetable. No Skytops or Super Domes on this short daily 85 minute run to Milwaukee. However it was unique in that it regularly carried a Los Angeles to Milwaukee storage mail car. This car was usually a Santa Fe "economy" baggage car received from the AT&SF in Chicago. Here we see a typical consist of Train #27 leaving Chicago. (Models are N scale)
