JMRI setup for Mac
I'm looking for advice on setting up JMRI Decoder/Panel Pro with a current (2012) MacBook Pro. I've downloaded the Decoder Pro successfully and I've bought the PR3 Xtra to use as an interface between JMRI and Mac.
My question is about what drivers to use. The instructions on JMRI for Mac setup get into a little more "computer-ease" language than I am familiar with.
Do I order an external driver? Is there one I download from the web?
Thanks,
Matt

Johnstown and Gerryville Operations
This is a great video for step by step way to operate and run a railroad. Enjoy very clear and good video.
Milestones
Well, it has been a series of milestones passed this week.
1. I sold my last 2 big DC power packs, leaving me with the small one for Merit Badge Academy's test track
2. I finished rewieghting the LAST of my rolling stock to NMRA or above weight standards (that may not sound like much, until you realize that I am talking about 223 units, and all weighting is hidden inside.)
3. All rolling stock has metal wheelsets, except a couple that can't due to power pick up issues. All units have Kadees or equivalent.
Kadee Uncoupling Magnets
Uncoupling cars using Kadee Uncoupling magnets. This will save a ton of ware and tear on your rolling stock. If you run op sessions or just move cars around to yards and industries these magnests can make it hands free.
Pembroke: Operations
In which I explore questions of car forwarding, train dispatching, and so on.
Coal and Steel Railroad and Prr, Family operating session
My o gauge layout is built for operation. Jon has attended an ops before and my mom has not. Jon and me were the train crew and mom was dispatcher. we were using track warrant, switch list and block control.

Copying some Obscure and Unheard of railroad...Freelancing?
This might be an old document file. (1996 give or take a few years). From the http://www.GSMrr.org/ website. So would it be Freelancing to copy a railroad that has little to no information about it from route to motive power etc. or just make up a history to fill in the huge gaps left from no documentation to failure of the railroad to mergers etc. Makes you wonder when you cross over from Prototype fidelity to Freelancing?
