A little help putting a Genesis GP51-1 shell back on the chassis.

I bought a GP15-1 that was DC only and installed a Tsunami GN1000 (Drop in replacement) and now can't seem to get the shell back on. (No, not speaker interference, can't even get that far). Every thing is tested and all hunky dory... except for getting the shell back on.

I saw a YouTube video about taking the shell off and that was helpful. No luck about finding something about putting it back on. I can't figure out where the problem is. This is the first time I've removed a Genesis shell.

Custom Paint -VIA Rail RDC 6215 on the Trenton Subdivision in N Scale

When models are not available of the items you want to include on your layout, customizing is the next option.

In this photo VIA Rail 6215, an RDC 2 moves out of the engine shop area following maintenance to resume duties on the branchline.

Gardner Bender Automatic Wire Stripper SE-92

Greetings,
I'm about to add some bench work to my layout and will be extending the DCC power bus. In the CVP EasyDcc manual there's mention of the above mentioned hand tool by Gardner Bender. I'm wondering if anyone has used their model SE-92 and what they think of it. The only review I've seen wasn't complimentary, but that's one guy's opinion. And is there a similar tool available that does the same thing?
Thanks for your input.
Barry P.

Car Wash on the Trenton Subdivision in N Scale

VIA Rail's, Kokanee Park passes through the Car Wash Area in VIA's Maintenance Shop, on my Trenton Subdivision in N Scale.

I have always wanted a Passenger Yard on the layout.  Setting up passenger trains, shop area and an opportunity to display unique rolling stock and engines in VIA Rail Service, provides another level of modeling and operations.
