Controlling Tam Valley Singlet Using JMRI

I ha

I have a turnout powered by a Tam Valley Singlet. I have assigned an address to it and can control it using the DT400 throttle and my Digitrax DCC system.

I want to control the turnout using a computer running JMRI.

I have both a SPROG and a Locobuffer-USB.

When I interface the computer directly to the singlet using the SPROG, JMRI works fine and I can contol the turnout.

The problem occurs trying to get JMRI to talk to the singlet through the command station using the LOCO-Buffer-USB

Purchasing Strategy : "Stockpiling" VS "J-i-T"?

Dear MRHers,

As I plow thru my current layout-build project, I've necessarily been obtaining various parts and components to "git 'er done". Funnily enough though, I've found that I'm actually purchasing less than I imagined, as a quick look thru the "warehouse" reveals that I already have a significant number of the various required components on-hand.

Computer control for online model railroading

There used to be a couple of websites that you could control a model railroad from anywhere. Its not up anymore and I'm wondering if anyone knows of any still online.

What DCC System to use?

I am a noobie to model railroading and need some recommendations for  DCC systems, and have researched enough about the decoders so I have that covered but I have not come across much about the systems. I do not need a wireless handheld as my layout is small but I welcome all suggestions.

Thanks,

Kev
