WWII Service Men & Women in N-Scale?

Hello all!

My N scale railroad is set in the summer of 1945. Something that I think would go a long way towards reinforcing the time period would be to have some appropriate era military personnel hanging around at the passenger station, hopefully they are waiting for their connecting trip home.

I've pretty much scoured the 'net and have come up empty. Anybody out there know of such figures?

Thanks!

YouTube Model Builders LIVE!

We have been working for a couple of months to put this together, it should be a lot of fun! Using a panel made up of several YouTube Model Builders, we all sit on a panel and discuss builds and take questions from the people watching. Find out more on my website www.digoxy.com/modelermanmike/liveshow/

Justice & Hangtree?

Got this Oriental Limited Powerhouse 2-4-4-2 on ebay.
Lettered for the "Justice & Hangtree" I wonder if anyone can tell me anything about this model railroad?
There has been quite a lot of equipment for sale on ebay from several sellers.
I also bought a reefer and a boxcar, most of the equipment are quite nicely painted.
Many hoppers suggest an eastern location.
Sellers are from Kentucky and Ohio (Cincinnati area) if that's any clue?

San Lorenzo nears completion

Had a great time today working on the layout!

The village of San Lorenzo is nearing completion. Today I completed a new station platform, located the buildings and completed the ground cover.

how does grain get to the silo?

I am building a silo in N scale and was wondering how the grain is transported to the silo. Most likely by truck; but, what kind of truck? Is an N scale model of the truck available?

Single-knob X-Over Control Using Bullfrogs

Below is the control installation for the crossover in my last post, with the control knob sticking out of the track diagram on the fascia:

Glacial till embankment

Has anyone on this forum modeled a scene with a railway track alongside a glacial till embankment?

If so, please show.

Building Crossovers with Fast Tracks Turnouts

I need a few single crossovers like the one shown below. This post describes how I combine two Fast Tracks #6 N-scale switches into a single crossover.
