Temporary Wire management
While I'm wiring under my layout I want to keep everything neat and organized. When I'm done I use cable ties, but while it is a work in progress I still want things kept kind of together.
Post a few pictures of your caboose
Topic: Post a few pictures the caboose that you are building/detailing.
I am getting back to detailing this caboose that I assembled from a kit. It needs a little more weathering and details like trash cans, flags, coffee cups, etc.
This kit came with interior detailing. The scale is Sn3 (S scale 3 foot narrow gauge)

Loveland Engine House and RIP Track
The model Loveland yard on the Great Western Railway has been operational for close to 4 years now but little scenery or detailing has been done. It’s been mostly unweathered track, Homasote with dirt paint and a photo covered engine house mockup.
Satellite truck
I am in want of a HO scale Satellite truck. I have searched ebay and the internet to no avail. Does anyone know where I could find one or the parts to build one? I did see where some one had built one, but it was only a picture.
Thanks

Illinois Central 60/70 Gscale Commutor Car
Hi I am looking for G scale decals for a 601970s IC Commuter car. The cars ran from South Chicago to downtown. They were brown cars with i believe orange or yellow lettering. The cars had reversible wicker seats and were electric
Water
I went to a model train show yesterday here in Spokane, Washington and saw some layouts that used a product call Virotex. I like the results and decided I am going to use it for my lake and stream coming from the lake. My question is that I was told that this product had color tint added to it to help develop depth. I forgot to ask where one got the color tint, what brand and how much does one use. Anyone used this product and know what I am talking about?
Sugar Beet Factory Switching Fun
Ken K wrote:
With beets, coal and covered hoppers full of chemicals being delivered, and freight cars of finished product being shipped the factory should be fun to switch.
Yes, I greatly enjoy the sugar factories. They provide huge amounts of traffic and use many car types. For those that are interested, I will describe the three factories on my Great Western layout and how they are switched.
Photos of the in-progress modeling can be found on my website.
Modeler’s License
I recently added coal pits to the Loveland and Windsor sugar beet factories. Coal was stored there for use in the factory boilers.
The first comment has the details.
