Graphite rail treatment and NeoLube........

I searched the topic data base and found a lot of threads on Graphite on rails.  As Neo Lube is graphite in alcohol I would have thought this an easy application.  I then searched Neo Lube but found no posts using it for track, only for blackening.  Am I missing something?  Has anyone tried it as a conductivity enhancer?

Thanks,

Peter

Using Euro block terminal connectors with various wire sizes

I am planning the wiring for a layout and have looked at the specs for Euro connectors which list wire ranges from 12 to 26 gauge.

Are there any issues with mixing 12 gauge bus wires with 22 or finer gauge feeder wires?

Building an Arduino Withrottle controller?

Hi all,

I currently have a laptop set up under my layout, which acts as a withrottle base station via a SPROG3 connection to my layout.

While the engine driver app on my phone works with this, I don't like the touch-screen interface. I prefer to have tactile buttons and control levers.

Possible Ground Loop?

Could you experts take a look at these drawings to see if we created a ground loop? I read that is a no no so want to make sure the issue does not exist. We have occasional loss of control and consist issues, but it is rare.

Micro connectors

I am looking for a source of micro connectors pins that will allow me to make my own connectors like the ones that Trains Control System sells.

I am installing decoders in my brass steam locos and these connectors are handy to connect the engine to the tender and connect wires inside the locomotive.

Control Panel Help

I am helping my brother with his N Scale railroad and need some practical and photo advice on building a control panel. Basically, the "table" is a door covered with a foam insulation sheet at a 47 inch height. We've laid out the track centerlines and will begin installation which will include Atlas switches with the machine attached to the side of the rail versus underneath.

BQR Control Panel Mark II

Last few months I have been working on a redesign of the BQR control panel. I had decided to use DTM30s to drive the display and control the electrically operated turnouts in the layout. Turnouts in the proximal Deseronto yard are operated with Modratec levers -- a very solid and satisfying mechanical link with a well designed coupling mechanism.
