Small buildings you wished exist in kit form?
So with my schools engineering club doing fundraising now I am considering designing a kit that we could produce more in bulk that we could advertise instead of just individual work. So what are some small building that you would like to see in kit form (what scale/scales too) I am looking for ideas and want to see what is not yet out there.
0n30 Change?
No this is not HO. This is an 0n30 2-6-6-2, that i picked up at a train show one month ago. i know that my first post said something about Conrail, but i've tossing around the idea of doing 0 scale narrow gauge for some time. It would also allow me to be able to scratchbuild more wooden structures, which i like doing. i also own 2 more 0n30 locos with a decent amount of rolling stock.
Decals for US Plywood Thrall all door boxcar.
Does anyone know if there are decals available for the US Plywood Thrall all door boxcar in HO scale?
I've done the normal web search and, so far, have come up empty handed.
Thanks

Tru-Color Paints
Tru-Color Paints
I am working on four more locomotives for my freelance railroad. I had painted the previous completed models in Polly S CSX dark future paint. I have found an equivalent shade of CSX dark future with True Color paints.
My question is, since I have only used Polly S, Floquil, and Tamiya, how is the finish and does it air brush well and what paint does it compare best to.
I have used up most of my Polly S and Floquil stock so now I must find another option. Thanks.

What’s on your workbench?
I haven’t seen this thread for a while so thought I’d kick it off with my passenger car bash to make a 49’ Second Class Car:

Is Model Railroading Dying?
When I go on to a manufacturer's website or look up parts in a smaller catalog or ask a rare hobby shop to order detail parts, I'm finding less and less available or listed as discontinued. Is the Hobby dying? Thanx Thom...
Badger Model Flex Paint Online Stores?
Anyone have online sources for Badger model flex paint, so I can compare prices?
I found some on US Airbrush supply when I was looking for quick disconnects for my airbrushes. The list price is $2.55 for an individual bottle, and if you buy the sets it drops down to $2.40 a bottle.

ESU LokProgrammer Problem
Recently I've been installing LokSound decoders in my engine fleet. To program those decoders I have the ESU LokProgrammer which I really like, and am running the latest updates to the software.
Walthers HO 90 ft Turntable
I've always wondered why the Walthers 90 ft. turntable had such a heavy duty girder compared to it's length. I think I determined the reason. In the July 1980 Model Railroader there is a drawing for a 66 ft. turntable but the drawing is in S scale. It appears that Walthers may have used the drawing for the model but didn't note that the drawing was S scale. So the Walthers 90 ft HO turntable is actually an S scale 66 ft turntable.
