Connect wiring to board

I built over 15 years ago n gauge train set within a coffee table.  I have included all the wiring for street lights etc but I don't know how, or know anyone who can connect wiring to board so I can run the trains  can anyone help me  I am in Kapiti, Wellington, New Zealand.

Cut Levers, quick and dirty style

Details are nice to have. Very nice details are great but take quite a bit of time to add and are not always visible at layout operating distances so I usually make some "utility" cut levers and add them to my cars at the same time I add basic air hoses. From a distance something approximating a prototype detail looks about as good as a proper detail  so I take advantage of the illusion. First thing to consider is the size of wire to use, scale size wire helps the appearance, make it a bit thinner than scale if you want as paint will make it look thicker.

Murray River Bridge new layout construction day 14.5 Laying the staging yard.

Hi All

so I laid the staging yard, it's first time I Had used exclusively PECO code 83 track, must say it's very easy to bend to shape and retains the curve to the point that I didn't need to use map pins to hold the track in place while the glue dried.

check out the video.

Murray River Bridge new layout construction day three, five and seven.

Hi All

some links to construction of my new layout

day three I build the frames (no base support) see if they all fit together on the decking.

day five My "bathtub" boards are taking shape, the bottom of the boards are 3mm MDF, this creates a smooth surface for moving the boards and protects the wiring, finally gives some torsional strength.

Murray River Bridge can I build a layout in 6 months?

So I have gave myself a challenge, can I build a layout in 6 months?

the layout size is 11ft by 24ft.  It basically consists of a very long bridge, file footage of it in final construction.

i documented each day from day 10 onwards on YouTube.

Given that I have a full time job and a family I started this layout on the 18th of April 2017.

What happened to Rob Paisley's wonderful website?

It was located at:  http://home.cogeco.ca/~rpaisley4/CircuitIndex.html  but no longer works!

Rob had accumulated a treasure trove of electronic circuits most of which were inclined towards model railroading applications. Those like me who had seen and/or built his circuits would realize what a tremendous resource it was.

Does anyone has an idea what happened to it and is there a possibility of it coming back online? Really hate to see it go...

Curved Roof construction/laser cutting?

Anyone have any leads for a fellow hobbyist who would be willing to do a small styrene laser cutting? I can do the CAD designs, but I dont have a laser to cut the styrene.

Here's my project. I need to make about 30 curved roof ribs for my snow dozers roof. I was thinking about cutting them out of .030 to .060" thick styrene and than gluing the bottom and top sheets over the ribs.

Urgent need for a custom made chassis and interior for HO scale subway!

Dear All

I just recently joined this forum based on a recommendation from a fellow model maker. I am currently in the process of starting my HO scale train model and have ordered a subway model from the Berlin BVG. Unfortunately as they are rare to find I had one designed and printed.

National Train Show Observations

Observations from Natl Train Show. First, Orange County Conv Ctr is huge. Second OCCC is HUGE! We have been walking for a good 10 minutes and still haven't gotten into the show itself. Had to stop to take a rest. And there is a huge line to get in. Not what I accepted at all.

Older auto transport

Here is an idea for a vintage layout.Cars were transported in boxcars I think into the fifties. The attached movies is form the twenties.
