Making a curved roof? Looking for ideas, suggestions?

I'm in need of some modeling advice. I'm in the middle of a huge, multi-year scratch build in 1/29 scale, and now I'm stumped on how to create a continuous curved radius roof for this project. Link to build thread is here

Crew-Controlled Traffic Signals?

I want to signalize one of my railroad crossings where traffic has difficult visibility.  My first thought was to simply install crossing signals.  However, then I found a prototype example where I live of a crossing that is controlled by a signal, with the railroad getting a signal one direction and traffic the other.  I like this better for a few reasons.

Module With a Turntable Focus: Scenery Added

Here it is (I really should have taken progress photos) a small 1'x4' module. The scene includes an abandoned track by an old warehouse, three small shacks and of course two garden tracks with a turntable. This turntable took 3 separate designs eventually deciding on this one. The track is non powered and I will just push engines on it as it is more of a scenic than operational thing. Scenicking starts tomorrow and may be finished in the same time.

Source for slide glass?

I know a few modelers have used microscope slide glass to replicate glass in structures and on locomotives.I would like to use slide glass on my Snow Dozer build but I've never used the stuff before My questions are;
Where do you find it?
Are there different thicknesses available?
How do you cut it?
What sizes are available?

Thanks in advance.

3D Printer Files...

Is there any chance of having an area where we can post and share 3D printer files? I think it would be a great resource for modelers with 3D printers.

BN Snow Dozer Scratch build

About 4 years ago I started my first major scratch building rolling stock project. Four years later, I'm still not done, but I'm making faster progress than before. A little background in the model, and the prototype to follow in the next post to keep this one on the short side. I have been in large scale 1/29 scale, G Guage for some 15 plus years, but I never really got serious about the scratchbuilding rolling stock (I have a huge scratch built feed mill I'm working on too; 7'x 6'x 4') until this project.

What rolling stock and/or vehicles would you like to see that haven't been made?

What rolling stock and/or vehicles would you like to see that haven't been made? I love historical research! Especially on topics that people don't normally learn about. I am also good with graphic design. I have even designed my own prototypically accurate decals for some models. I have already finished the decals and research but not design for the Boeing skybox. I would love to learn about some rolling stock or vehicles I didn't know about before. Currently pending research and design are:

4 lane interstate highway

Is there a ho scale 4 lane highway with a divider between the 2 lanes, or do you have to combine 2 lane highways?  Thank you.
