Some days, it looks like it might turn into a railroad

The helix is complete:

Track is laid to the end of the second level of the peninsula:

Era Drift

I got back from the Supertrain show in Calgary, Alberta on Monday.  It was very enjoyable to catch up with people I haven't seen in a while.  I had opportunity to see many excellent modular layouts as well as operate on a very nicely done N scale home layout.  My photo sales were good as well, justifying the long trip.  I drove to and from the show with my friend Chris.  11 hours of driving each way gives plenty of time to cover many subjects, sometimes several times.

How common were containers in the early 70´s?

Hi guys,

I am currently planning a small HO/HOn30 mine layout and was wondering how common containers were back in the day. My idea is to use a 20´ as an office.  Would it be plausible?

Kadee #5 vs. #148 couplers

I have been using Kadee #5 couplers on my cars for years. Since then, Kadee has introduced the #148 whisper coupler to their line of couplers. My question is, are the #148 couplers more reliable, and are they more prototypical then the #5 couplers. Any advice or experience with them would be appreciated.

Hello @ all

I'm searching for automobiles of the 70s to 90s in HO.
Does anybody have a source?

Thanks

Martin

Here a Hudson there a Hudson

My short line the Iolanthe & Utpoia (IOU) will have a single 2-8-2 as its main power. But an intetchange with the New York Central will allow me to indulge in 4-6-4 Hudsons i want at least one of each type, bullet nose, shovel nose, and unshrouded. I will have to dcc and possibly remoter all three. In N scale it's Con Cor-Rivarossi or nothing. But im realy looking forward to my passenger train opetstions.

A paint help query

Does anyone know of a paint available in UK that is a reasonable match for the blue of the front of the roof on a Mini Metals Greyhound  GMC Scenicruiser bus  - While fitting the windscreen wipers and Mirrors I seem to have applied a fingerprint to it

Mil-Scale Models

I have the model Mil-Scale Coal Yard Bunker/ Jacobs Coal Co. S-90 in HO.

A photo of the completed model is not available and would help in building said model. I checked Google but no assembled pictures came up. Anyone have a photo of the assembled model?
