Cutting plastic and balsa for kitbashing
Can anyone suggest a good cutting system for repetition and ease of measurement?
Modeling Flat Car Loads-Tractors/Construction Equipment (HO Scale)
I am modeling the midwest (KCS Kansas City Area) in the early 1980s. I have several 60' MDC flat cars (HO scale) which I would like to add farm equipment or construction equipment as loads. I subscribe to the "Good Enough" philosophy, so I would prefer modifying toys such as those found at Walmart, rather than spend $30-$60 a piece for scale models. I have found some nice near HO scale 1/87 toys of both farm tractors and construction equipment, however I don't know what models would be appropriate for my era. Cement Plant traffic
Hello all.
I am going to modeling the cement factory in Monolith California, and I have run into a slight road blok. I am looking for what type of rail traffic would support the plant. I was wondering where to look for this information.

So the late Dean Freytag's book on steel got me interested in steel. I dreamed, schemed and planned what I would do when I had time and money. Then one day a couple years back I discovered direct reduced iron.
