Wiring Walthers LED Traffic Signals with DPDT - Need Some Help
Greetings,
I posted a thread a few weeks ago about how I am wanting to have a grade crossing protected by traffic signals that the crew can switch to either let the railroad or the auto traffic have control of the crossing. Here is a link to that thread:

Hi has anyone heard of this product and tried it out? How satisfied are you with it? How does it compare to Woodland Scenics Light Hub in terms of cost/efficiency? Thanks.

Walthers Cantilivers with a switch
Hi there, I have the two Walthers cantilever crossing signals for my grade crossing. The idea is manual operation via an on/off switch. No train detection in either direction and across three tracks operated.
Here is the grade crossing in question:

Switching power supply DOA - chance to learn.
Hello,
I've kept a 12 volt switching power supply that I want to use to light my layout area. It is one of three. It was DOA, the other two worked and I thought worst case I'd get a parts box.... and maybe a little time on the learning curve.
Arduino Fire: Flicker and Glow VS On/Off Flash
Dear MRHers,
Am barrelling thru a layout speed-build right now, (details irrelevant to this post),
and need a pair of fire fx. Perfect opportunity to try a quick Arduino deployment.
Anyway, the Arduino is in and flickering away, and honestly, I'm disappointed...
The concept is cool, and the price is decent compared to commercial options,
but compared to the Audio-fire circuits I'm used to using, this looks more like lightening than fire....
Labeling layout wiring
I use 3M SLS Write-On Wire Marker Dispenser with good results. The more electronics one uses, the amount of wiring seems to greatly increase. You need a good system to label as you go and the 3M product works for me.

Crew-Controlled Traffic Signals?
I want to signalize one of my railroad crossings where traffic has difficult visibility. My first thought was to simply install crossing signals. However, then I found a prototype example where I live of a crossing that is controlled by a signal, with the railroad getting a signal one direction and traffic the other. I like this better for a few reasons.
