The Birth and Growth of the Nashville Road
By Dave Husman and Andy Keeney
Hi.. and here is the beginings of my new shed..
A step further to the base down for my new shed.. as the old base had rotted, i bought some nice 12mil board.. 4 struts, and drilled a big messy hole for the electricity pipe to get power to this end of the garden.... A movie !!!
A new layout beggining
Hello everyone.
My name´s Alejandro Ramirez Watanabe, from Mexico City; I'm modeling in HO scale since as long as I can remember. perhaps as many of my Northamerican counterparts I started in the hobby with a trainset (MANTUA/ TYCO) way back in 1972, when my aunt came back from a quick trip to L.A., & bought me the train as a birthday gift.
I remember I couldn´t sleep for several nights. I was amazed with all the details the little trains had.
Reference Material
While I have materials related to when both my dad, uncle, cousin and I worked for the 'road,' I'm interested if anyone has materials to share about the Nickel Plate Road - especially shots of yards and sidings. Most of the layout design is fairly set to paper, but there is room for an "interesting" yard at one end and siding trackwork that is just not a spur off the main line.
