The Tallulah Falls Railroad

I grew up about a mile from what my Great-Grandmother said as the "TF". I guess I was about three when I caught the bug, I was about 5 and I asked my mom where all the trains were around here and she said "Josh honey you need to ask Momagene and Papa about that". Being natural for kids that age I walked over to the phone and dialed my Great-Grandfathers home phone number, it rang about two times and then My Papa picked up and the first things that were of of my mouth were "Papa where are all the trains?" and he said. "Hello Josh well...............

Happy New Year to you all!

Thanks a lot for all I have learnt this past year.

I hope to begin my layout this new year. I will need a lot of advice and help (to make things worse I am French, and so I have an awful lot of things to learn).

Best to you all.

Gerard.

Bob's Trains unveiling at Northeast Georgia Medical Center

My wife Midge & I were honored to attend the unveiling of Bob’s Trains at the Northeast Georgia Medical Center held on Tuesday December 13th.  For those of you that didn't read previous posts, Bob's Railroad is a toy railroad for the children at Northeast Georgia Medical Center in Gainesville, Georgia.  A number of generous gentlemen lead by Dr.

Too Blog or Not to Blog?

So I am sitting here working on my layout design, and have started doing some things to the train room, and I was thinking that other people would like to see info on my progress. I know I like to see what others do, especially on here, (pics, videos, blogs, etc,,,) and that is the main reason why in the last 2-3 weeks I have made a lot of progress as far as design is considered because of the good people on here and there ideas and comments.
